Location: Kipini is located on the north Kenya coast at the mouth of the Tana river. The graves are located near the old District Comissioner's House.

Notes: The District Commisioner's house is said to be haunted by two ghosts. One is that of Clifford Pitt and the other Mrs Martha Dunscombe Duff, the mother of Kenneth. Mrs Duff, a widow, had arrived to visit her only son only to be told that he had died several weeks earlier. She is reported to have suffered a breakdown on receiving this news and never recovered. She subsequently died in Nairobi in 1923 and is buried in Nairobi Forest Road Cemetery.
